Welcome! My name is David Swait and I am an aspiring apprentice bladesmith and member of the American Bladesmith Society (ABS). I have been making knives since 2012, alongside George Brackett, a great mentor and teacher. I strive to make the best blades I possibly can and to one day craft the best blades on Earth. I am still learning with every knife I make and having fun in the process.

Aside from displaying my work, I also plan to have an educational section on this site where akin knifemakers, collectors, and knife enthusiasts can come and learn more about the knifemaking process and the methods I use. I have come to realize that knifemaking is an infinite learning curve and I am refining my techniques with every knife I make.
